How esports verification works
Steam
Steam verifies Counter-Strike 2 and can share your lifetime match stats.
How you sign in
Tap Verify with Steam and sign in on Steam's own page. Steam tells Pinion which Steam account you signed in with. Nothing else is shared at that point.
Titles it verifies
- Counter-Strike 2
What Pinion reads
- Matches played
- Matches won
- K/D (kills per death)
- Headshot %
Steam doesn't share a Premier rating or rank, so none is shown. Losses aren't shown either, because Steam's numbers can't tell a loss from a tie.
Name Pinion shows
Your Steam profile name.
If something looks wrong
Counter-Strike 2 shows Verified account and no stats
Steam only shares stats when your profile's game details are public. In Steam, open your profile, choose Edit Profile, then Privacy Settings, and set Game details to Public. Then tap Refresh in Esports verification.
